Question of the Week: What is Your Fave Movie Snack?

These days you can indulge in a full course-meal followed by an elaborate dessert all at your nearby movie theatre. From poutine to beer to hamburgers, anything goes when it comes to movie snacks. (Gawd, I sound like an old person!)

So we want to know 1. Do you snack at the movies? 2. If so, what do you snack on? Me, for reasons unknown, I crave Junior Mints and only when I’m at the theatre.

That’s pretty sedate compared what some people snack on while watching a movie. Watch the clip below and let us know what you like to eat in the darkened theatre.

I've been known to sneak potato chips into the movie theatre, though I'm also a fan of the layered buttered popcorn -- squirt of butter in the middle and on the top!

Once in high school I snuck in a bag of french fries. People actually ratted me out because they smelled so good and I had to throw them away. Cue to now when you can eat a Whopper no problem!

BTW, it's Alicia from HGTV.ca!

Ha Jennifer, I love those sprinkles too. I go for salt and vinegar. It's full of MSG and other yucky stuff but popcorn tastes so much better. Ha ha Alicia!

Alicia, I'm in full support of the layered butter popcorn. I love the sour cream and onion topping too - sometimes I put so much on, it causes a (yummy) coughing fit.

I like the sweet and salty (and buttery). So, no doubt my fave is buttered popcorn and plain M&M's!

Nachos with cheese and salsa and I always pay extra for more cheese because there is never enough for all the nacho chips :)

Oh without a doubt, when I go out to a movie it has to be double buttered popcorn all the way - without any of those flavour powders!  Just salty, buttery goodnes.  And a big jug of coke or pepsi!  Movie night at home is usually popcorn or chips and dip.  Now I want to go to a movie so I can get some of that tasty movie theatre popcorn!  :-)

Flavoured popcorn & pop!  I bring my own seasoning now since the theatres either don't provide it or charge for it.  Yummy!

Twizzlers and Peanut M&Ms!!! And some days, I like to add Sour Cherries or Fuzzy Peaches to the mix, too.
