Elana and I attended the fifth annual What’s on the Table event last night, a fundraiser for The Stop Community Food Centre. It was held at the gorgeous Wychwood Green Barn, The Stop’s new home. The Stop is a non-profit organization with an innovative approach to feeding the city’s hungry. (Click here for a great article on what The Stop is about.)
All the city’s foodies were there including Toronto’s best chefs, food writers and local celebrities. (Visit our twitter page to see who was there). It was a great night out with fantastic food and lovely local wines and delicious local cider (I loved Ontario’s Peeler cider).
