Over the course of the show Gordon and his amateur brigade of four passionate home cooks prepare a three course meal for 50 diners – and every recipe is something that viewers can cook at home. If the diners don’t like their food they don’t have to pay for it, so the pressure’s on for the brigade to prove they have the skills and strength of character to deliver under the pressure of a busy restaurant service.
