What are you waiting for? Summer’s here and it’s time to get your licence … your Licence to Grill, that is! With Chef Rob Rainford at the grill, each episode of this series takes place on a Saturday afternoon as Rainford prepares to have people over for a backyard dinner.
With barbecuing as the central theme, Rainford demonstrates the how's and why's of perfect grilling with recipes ranging from the deliciously simple, such as hamburgers, steaks and kebabs, to more ambitious fare such as leg of lamb, hot and smoking sides of fish and grilled desserts.
In many episodes, Rainford is joined by a rotating cast of secondary characters – including his local butcher, fishmonger, green grocer – who give viewers insight into the ingredients essential to great barbecuing.
